Social Security Scotland’s first Business Plan sets out the work that we will deliver in our first full year of operation, from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2020.
The main focus of the Business Plan are our key activities for the year ahead. This work will help us to expand and continually improve the services that we already deliver and to build the capacity, in terms of our people and structures, to ensure we are ready to deliver new benefits in the years ahead.
These are set out as “Priorities”, with each Priority detailing what will be delivered to ensure that we continue to make progress against the Commitments we made when we opened to the public in September 2018. More information about those Commitments and the four Strategic Objectives that sit above them, can be found in our Interim Corporate Plan.
The Business Plan also includes some information on how we will report on each Priority and the ways in which we will measure the quality of the service we provide to our clients.
