Overview
We are currently seeking applications for Project Co-ordinator within Social Security Scotland based in Dundee or Glasgow.

As a Project Co-ordinator within Social Security Scotland you will be required to support internal project activity in one of our projects or within our Project Management Office ensuring the correct
governance, project disciplines and rigor are applied throughout the project lifecycle; as well as supporting functions across the wider organisation and supporting engagement with our Social Security Programme colleagues.

This post sits under the Business Change Management Unit which is a maturing team of talented individuals who find change exciting, are comfortable dealing with ambiguity, like to make sense of complexity and have a real drive to make their mark.

The successful candidate will share this passion and will have the support and experience of the wider branch to help them establish in the role.

Main Duties
• Support one of Social Security Scotland project teams using appropriate project management methodologies to establish, plan and deliver a complex project.
• Develop, manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation and implementation plans which drive and ensure successful change including project plans, RAID logs, project dashboards and progress reports.
• Support effective stakeholder relationships and engagement.
• Facilitate effective decision making through comprehensive and accurate evaluations.
• Manage and build capability in project and support team members providing guidance and support where required.
• Work with colleagues to support the development and service of project governance structures within the agency ensuring alignment with delivery partner plans.
• Draft accurate, timely reports tracking project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Contribute to the development of all associated spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs, requirements and progress.
