Social Security Scotland are looking to recruit Technical Platform Owners.
Social Security Scotland will implement the largest, most complex IT program of change since Scottish devolution, with a budget of over £300m to deliver a social security system to support the people of Scotland for decades to come. Social Security Scotland is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government.

This post attracts a £5000 Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) pay supplement after a 3 months DDaT competency qualifying period. The payment will be backdated to your start date in the role. Pay supplements are temporary payments designed to address recruitment and retention issues caused by market pressures and are subject to regular review. As a member of the profession you will join the professional development system, currently BCS RoleModelplus.
The role will focus initially on technical discovery and detailed options appraisals for various technical components required to support and deliver the overall digital solutions for Social Security Scotland.
The post holder will be expected to be the technical lead for one high priority component, or two medium priority components (depending on their scale and complexity) across the following areas:
