Overview
The Chief Digital Office(CDO) Division has a remit to provide infrastructure and systems to support both the wider social security programme and Social Security Scotland. The division is responsible for delivering the infrastructure, capability and digital solutions that will support the Social Security Programme and Social Security Scotland.

Key focus areas of the CDO Division are:

•Architecture and overall design;
•Technologies and Platforms;
•Digital Risk and Cyber Protection;
•Operational Delivery and Capability;
•Service Management Service Development

A Service Desk Analyst maintains hardware and fixes technical problems as quickly as possible. They respond and manage their work based on requests and proactive management of technical issues. They provide first time resolution by troubleshooting and diagnosing or escalating faults (or both) to service desk managers, incident managers and problem managers to investigate and resolve.

Main Duties
•Setup, maintenance and decommissioning of laptops, mobile phones, multi-functional printers, video/audio conferencing and networking equipment;
•Deployment and configuration of corporate applications and licences to laptops and mobile phones. Including O365, MS Teams, Blackberry Mobile Device Management, accessibility and assistive technologies.
•Supporting end users with incidents related to software and hardware faults of devices and peripherals;
•Contributing to improving team capability through documenting and sharing knowledge with team colleagues, coaching peers and more junior colleagues on processes and technologies.
