How should the reliability criteria be applied?
The reliability criteria should be applied by following the four tests that enable you to make a consistent decision.
Where an individual does not meet each of the reliability criteria for a specific descriptor then you must consider an alternative descriptor for that activity.
Four tests
The four tests are whether they can carry out the activity:
- safely;
- To an acceptable standard;
- Repeatedly; and
- Within a reasonable time period;
