Renal dialysis and Pension Age Disability Payment

Individuals receiving particular types of renal dialysis may be entitled to PADP at the lower rate under the rules for renal dialysis.

If the individual is entitled to PADP under the rules for renal dialysis, they do not need to meet the usual rules of the daytime or night-time conditions (PADP regs, reg 7). For more information on the rules relating to renal dialysis, please see the Rules for Renal Dialysis chapter.
