Job Start Payment is a one off payment of either:

• £314.45
• £503.10 – if you're the main carer of any children

Social Security Scotland wants to make sure you have relevant and up-to-date information about Job Start Payment. As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week (#ScotAppWeek25), we are hosting a stakeholder event to give an overview of the benefit. Our aim is to educate and engage stakeholders from a variety of sectors, ensuring you understand what Job Start Payment is, eligibility criteria and how to apply for it.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences and ask questions.

Our event is designed for stakeholders working with individuals who might apply for Job Start Payment.
