Scottish Child Payment Event 27 February

Scottish Child Payment helps towards the costs of supporting a family. It's a weekly payment of £26.70, available for every child you look after who's under 16 years of age.

Social Security Scotland wants to make sure you have relevant and up-to-date information about Scottish Child Payment that allows you to support the families you work with. Our aim is to educate and engage stakeholders from a variety of sectors, ensuring you understand what Scottish Child Payment is, eligibility criteria and how to apply for it. You can also expect a brief overview of Best Start Grant and Best Start Food.

Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences and ask questions.

Our event is designed for stakeholders working with parents and carers of children aged better 0 and 16 years, who are eligible for our Five Family Payments including Scottish Child Payment and Best Start Grants.
