This report covers feedback (complaints, compliments, and suggestions) received by Social Security Scotland since it was introduced on 4 September 2018 until 30 September 2020. It includes statistics for specific benefits (Carer’s Allowance Supplement, Best Start Grant, Best Start Foods, Funeral Support Payment, Young Carer Grant and Job Start Payment), as well as feedback that was not benefit specific.

We began taking applications for Funeral Support Payment on 16 September 2019. This publication provides information on applications and payments for Funeral Support Payment from this date to 30 September 2020. It therefore includes figures for approximately 12 months of applications.

Updated quarterly statistics for Carer’s Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance and Severe Disablement Allowance claimants in Scotland. Statistics are broken down by characteristics such as gender, age, duration of claim and entitlement. Further breakdowns are available on the Stat-Xplore website.
