Information requested
Provide the following information for the financial years 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, 2024/25, 2025 to date of request, and an aggregate figure for each benefit since its launch:
Request for information 1: Number of Adult Disability Applications approved without a consultationand a breakdown of consultation type (e.g. phone, in person, video etc).
Request for information 2: The total number of Adult Disability Applications approved.
Request for information 3: Number of Adult Disability Reviews which involve a consultation and a breakdown of consultation type (e.g. phone, in person, video etc).
Request for information 4: The total number of Adult Disability Reviews.
Request for information 5: Number of Adult Disability Review planned award reviews which involve a consultation and a breakdown of consultation type (e.g. phone, in person, video etc).
Request for information 6: Total number of Adult Disability Review planned award reviews.
Request for information 7: Total number of Adult Disability Review change in circumstance reviews.

Requests for information 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13:
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing the information requested would exceed the upper cost limit of £600. This would require interrogation of each individual application to ascertain the consultation information requested for each.
Under section 12 of FOISA public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying would exceed the upper cost limit, which is currently set at £600 by Regulations made under section 12.

Table 1 "Applications by decision" shows the total number of authorised Adult Disability Payment (ADP) applications, from 21 March 2022 to 30 April 2025.
Table 27 “Reviews” shows the total number of Adult Disability Payment (ADP) reviews completed from 1 August 2022 to 30 April 2025.
The table below shows the number of Adult Disability Payment applications which were approved between 1 May 2025 to 4 June 2025. This data is based on management information produced for internal reporting purposes and not quality assured to the same standard as our official statistics.

Table 27 "Reviews" shows the number of Adult Disability Payment (ADP) planned award reviews and change of circumstances reviews which were completed from 1 August 2022 to 31 January 2025.
The table below shows the number of Adult Disability Payment reviews which were completed between 1 May 2025 to 4 June 2025. This data is based on management information produced for internal reporting purposes and not quality assured to the same standard as our official statistics.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the costs of locating, retrieving and providing the information requested would exceed the upper cost limit of £600. This would require interrogation of each individual scheduled review to ascertain if a change of circumstances had been submitted, we only hold data around the review outcomes (increase, decrease, no change).
Under section 12 of FOISA public authorities are not required to comply with a request for information if the authority estimates that the cost of complying would exceed the upper cost limit, which is currently set at £600 by Regulations made under section 12.
