The number of Adult Disability Payment claimants where the primary condition is epilepsy, broken down by:

a. Local authority in Scotland

b. Standard age categories used by Social Security Scotland

Request for information 2:

For these claimants, please also provide a breakdown (if available) of award levels:

a. Daily Living (standard vs enhanced rate)

b. Mobility (standard vs enhanced rate)

Request for information 3:

The success rate of applications for Adult Disability Payment where epilepsy is the primary condition, including:

a. Initial decisions (approved/denied)

b. Appeals/re-determinations (successful/unsuccessful outcomes)

Response

The term caseload has been used in place of claimants to ensure consistency with our published data on Adult Disability Payment. Caseload refers to the number of individuals who are receiving a benefit at a specific point in time.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Social Security Scotland does not have the information you have requested.
