Please note that the figures in response to request for information 1,2 and 3 are figures from launch until 31 July 2024. There were a total of 216,960 new applications in this period where a decision was reached. We have used the difference between that figure and the decisions that were decided upon with consultation to produce the response to request for information 1 part 2.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance Social Security Scotland does not have the information you have requested. When clients are transferred from Department for Work and Pensions to Social Security Scotland a decision is not required as a matter of course. Decisions are required on planned review dates or unscheduled review dates should a client notify us of a change of circumstances

This is a formal notice under section 17(1) of FOISA that Social Security Scotland does not have the information you have requested.
