Response

Request for Information 1 and 2:

Social Security Scotland has two office spaces in Dundee, our Head Office Agnes Husband House, and Enterprise House. For Dundee office occupancy, I have interpreted your request to include both of these offices.

Please find below average weekly building occupancy percentages in this calendar year for our Dundee and Glasgow offices.

It should be noted that the figures capture Social Security Scotland staff using a desk in our buildings but does not include staff attending training, meetings or activities in collaborative spaces. Visitors to the building are also not included in this count.

Request for Information 3:

All members of staff have a contractual base location in their contract of employment which is their permanent, full-time place of work. Social Security Scotland is committed to working in a hybrid way and as part of our implementation, we have agreed that from mid-April, staff should spend at least two days per week (pro-rata) in an office. Exceptions may be made for colleagues and these will be discussed and agreed between the line manager and the individual.

Please find attached guidance which has been shared with all staff regarding Social Security Scotland’s
approach to Hybrid working.
