Latest colleague statistics

We have published our workforce statistics covering quarterly data to the end of December 2021.

This publication tells us key information including the number of people we employ and the make-up of our workforce. For example, around 60% of our directly-employed colleagues are women and the most common age group for all colleagues was 30-39. Further diversity information is set out in the report.

The total number of directly-employed colleagues has risen to 1,915 – an increase from 1,526 at the end of September 2021.

Our total headcount was 2,093 including people working with us as contractors or through employment agencies. We expect this to increase in the coming months as we continue to recruit new colleagues for the rollout of Adult Disability Payment.
