Online benefit applications temporarily unavailable during system upgrade
We are making some essential improvements to our IT systems which means some of our online services will be unavailable at certain times this week.
Online applications for disability payments and low-income benefits will be unavailable from Friday 21 June 2024 at 6pm until Monday 24 June at 8am.
Our document upload service will also be unavailable during this time for all benefits, meaning that supporting information for applications can either be posted to us or be uploaded once our systems are available again.
Applications for the following benefits will be unavailable during this time:
- Adult Disability Payment
- Best Start Grants
- Best Start Foods
- Carer Support Payment - for residents of Dundee City, Perth and Kinross, and Na h-Eileanan an Iar (Western Isles)
- Child Disability Payment
- Funeral Support Payment
- Job Start Payment
- Scottish Child Payment
- Young Carer Grant
People applying for low-income benefits will be given the option to fill out a PDF application form that can be posted to us.
We are continually looking to improve our systems to make applying for benefits as straightforward as possible. This system downtime is necessary for us to make improvements.
We apologise for any inconvenience. We will return to full service at 8am on Monday 26 June and clients will be able make online applications as normal.
