Social Security Scotland awarded Best Internal Communications from the Public Sector

Social Security Scotland was awarded the top prize of Silver for Best Internal Communications from the Public Sector at the 2023 Internal Communications and Engagement Awards.
Run by Communicate Magazine, the awards celebrate the best internal communication performances by sector across the UK.
This is the second award Social Security Scotland has received for its internal communications in the last year. We previously received the Institute of Internal Communications’ best small public sector/not-for-profit team (1-5 people).
Leading communication experts from UK-wide organisations such as Dr Martens, Santander and Network Rail judged the award applications.
Dawn Toshney, Internal Communications Team Leader, said:
“I’m really delighted that our team has been recognised for all the hard work that they do.
“Being recognised externally for a second time shows we are leading the way in our approach to communicating corporate messages to our colleagues. We won’t be complacent though and will keep looking for ways to continuously improve.”
