Request for information 4: Is there an extension clause in the contract and, if so, the duration of the extension?

Request for information 5: Has a decision been made yet on whether the contract is to be either extended or renewed?

Request for information 6: Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for the contract?

Request for information 7: Name of Incumbent Supplier?

Request for information 8: How long have you traded with them?

Request for information 9: If you publish your register of contracts and purchasing, can you please provide a website link.

Request for information 10: In addition, can you confirm if you have a contract in place for Tail End Spend.

Request for information 1 and 2:

1 April 2022 to 31 March 2023 - £13,507.00

1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024 - £16,803.28

Request for information 3:

The Scottish Government General Office Supplies Framework commenced 1 July 2023 and will run for a period of four years until 30 June 2027.

Request for information 4:

There is no extension option available under the framework agreement.

Request for information 5:

A decision has not yet been made by Scottish Procurement and Property Directorate. A decision will be made closer to the expiry of the current framework.

Request for information 6:

Outside of Procurement, Ally MacPhail, Deputy Director of Organisational Strategy and Performance is responsible for the contract.

The incumbent Supplier has been in place since 1 September 2018.

Social Security Scotland’s contract register is published on Public Contracts Scotland Buyer View - Public Contracts Scotland, however, this does not include office supplies as Social Security Scotland places orders directly from a catalogue under the Scottish Government General Office Supplies Framework.

Request for information 10:

As Social Security Scotland places orders directly from a catalogue under the Scottish Government Office Supplies Framework, there is no contract in place for tail end spend.
