Part of Scottish Adult Disability Living Allowance decision making guide

Withdrawal of application

Individuals have the right to withdraw their Adult Disability Payment application at any time before the interim Adult Disability Payment determination is made following their application. Case managers are not to make a determination on applications which have been withdrawn, and the individual’s entitlement to Scottish Adult Disability Living Allowance will continue for as long as they are eligible (Section 39, 2018 Social Security (Scotland) Act).
