Our Annual Report and Accounts details our activities from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022. This reporting period saw rapid growth as we introduced several new benefits, including Child Disability Payment and Adult Disability Payment.

Our Annual Report and Accounts tells the story of our activities from 1 April 2020 to 31 March 2021.

This report covers the period from 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020 along with the completion of the 2019/20 Annual Report and Accounts. This is our first report covering a full financial year and discusses the good work undertaken to embed the Committee into the organisation’s wider Governance Framework and set a challenging work programme covering a range of important areas.

Social Security Scotland was established in September 2018. Our latest annual report shows that in the space of our first 19 months we’ve taken on responsibility for the administration of seven new benefits and paid more than £540 million in vital support to people across Scotland.
