Meeting us at Meet the Buyer Tayside

Social Security Scotland’s Procurement and Commercial team are looking forward to meeting local suppliers and businesses across Tayside as we continue to promote fair, transparent and inclusive procurement opportunities.

We will be attending Meet the Buyer Tayside to outline upcoming contract opportunities and provide practical guidance on how suppliers can work with us and navigate our procurement processes with confidence.

The event takes place on Tuesday 3 March 2026 at the Innovation Hub, Michelin Scotland Innovation Parc, Dundee – close to our Dundee head office, Agnes Husband House.

Meet the Buyer Tayside is a valuable opportunity for both new and existing suppliers. We actively encourage stakeholders, suppliers and local businesses to come along, ask questions, and learn how to position themselves for future procurement exercises as we continue to grow our service delivery.

Organised by Dundee City Council and the Supplier Development Programme, Meet the Buyer Tayside will give suppliers an opportunity to hear about upcoming contracts, supply-chain needs and sub-contracting opportunities across the Tayside region, from public and private sectors buyers.

In addition to procurement insights, attendees can explore a wide range of business support services, including advice on upskilling, capacity building, and improving tendering success.

As an anchor institution in Dundee’s Community Wealth Building initiative, we are committed to supporting local economic growth. This includes increasing awareness of our Community Benefits Strategy, where we encourage suppliers to contribute to local communities through initiatives such as skills development, training, and employment opportunities as part of our contract requirements.
