  1. Parents and carers urged not to miss out on support worth more than £300 as deadline looms for School Age Payment applications

    Parents and carers, with a child born between 1 March 2019 and 29 February 2020, risk missing out on hundreds of pounds worth of help if they dont apply for School Age Payment in time. The deadline for applications is 28 February 2025.

  10. Winter Heating Payment on its way

    Money to help with heating costs is on its way to around 457,000 Scots on low incomes. Winter Heating Payment is an automatic, annual payment from Social Security Scotland. This year it is worth £58.75.
