Change in amount of payment due to changes in law

Rates of Adult Disability Payment will increase in April every year in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This is known as ‘Up-rating’ and individuals will be notified of the increase in advance of it taking effect via an Up-rating Notice letter sent around February each year from 2023 onwards. Processes have been put in place for the small number of new awards made between the 21 March and 10 April 2022 and clerical letters will be issued.
