Scope of re-determination - whole award

Carer Support consists of  Carer Support Payment, Scottish Carer Supplement and, where appropriate, Carer Additional Person Payment components. An individual cannot request a re-determination of their entitlement to one component in isolation - any re-determination would consider entitlement to the whole award.
