The number of children actively benefitting from Scottish Child Payment as of 31 March 2026 broken down by intermediate zone 2022 codes and child age-band was published on the Scottish Government Open Data Platform. On 26 May 2026, in response to a request from Audit Scotland, secondary analysis was published on the average (median) processing time for denied Scottish Child Payment applications broken down by financial year of application decision date. Social Security Scotland do not intend to routinely release this information alongside future Scottish Child Payment statistics publication series.
