Social Security Scotland – workforce information: December 2022

This Official Statistics publication presents quarterly data on the Social Security Scotland’s workforce. The statistics show: numbers of directly employed staff by category numbers of non-directly employed workers by category staff sickness absence staff diversity information location information Quarterly updates to the tables in the publication are released in March, June, September, and December. The latest period is to the end of December 2022, published in March 2023.

Scottish Child Payment: high level statistics to 31 December 2022

Scottish Child Payment was initially introduced for low-income families with children aged under six. The payment was extended to eligible low-income families with children aged under 16 on 14 November 2022. It is intended to provide regular, additional financial support for families already in receipt of qualifying benefits to assist with the costs of caring for a child.
