This publication includes client diversity and equality of application outcomes for clients applying for Best Start Grant, Best Start Foods, Funeral Support Payment, and Young Carer Grant. The majority of responses were from applicants for Best Start Grant or Best Start Foods (95%), because Best Start Grant has been live for the longest period of time, and because there is a single combined form for the three Best Start Grant payments and Best Start Foods. The method for collecting this information was improved on 9 December 2019, therefore this is a one-off publication.
