Social Security Scotland Model Framework

Social Security Scotland’s Model Framework sets out the relationship between the Executive Agency and Scottish Government. It provides a summary of the key roles and responsibilities of our Chief Executive; our Portfolio Accountable Officer, and the Permanent Secretary of the Scottish Government, and how they work together with Scottish Ministers to deliver the Scottish social security system effectively.

The Framework will be reviewed every 3 years and any significant changes must be approved by Scottish Ministers.
