Social Security Scotland’s Adult Disability Payment replaces Personal Independence Payment (PIP) for people in Scotland. If you already get PIP from DWP you do not need to apply as your payments will transfer automatically.

You can apply for Adult Disability Payment if you

  • are between 16 years old and state pension age
  • need help with the extra costs of being disabled or having a long term health condition
