Social Security Scotland will shortly be introducing its next new benefit – Child Disability Payment. Child Disability Payment is designed to provide extra money to help with the costs of caring for a child with a disability or ill-health condition. Child Disability Payment will replace Disability Living Allowance for children, which is currently delivered by the Department for Work and Pensions.

This report presents the results from the Social Security Scotland Client Satisfaction Survey for Adult and Child Disability Payment. All Adult Disability Payment or Child Disability Payment applicants were invited to take part. This survey includes responses to the survey from 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025.
