If an appeal of Carer Support Payment is ongoing by 15 March 2026
The regulations establishing Carer Support come into force on 15 March 2026 and existing awards of Carer Support Payment will be transferred to an award of Carer Support effective from that date. If an appeal relating to an award of Carer Support Payment is ongoing on 15 March 2026, and it is subsequently decided that the person is entitled to Carer Support Payment in respect of a period that includes 14 March 2026, a determination without application of entitlement to Carer Support can then be made.
