Reporting temporary stops in care

Carers must report temporary stops in care as a change of circumstance. They must report any week where they provided, or will provide, less than 35 hours of care to the cared for person.

The carer’s CSP payments must also end if the cared for person stops receiving a qualifying disability benefit (unless the cared for person has died).
