Overall score for the daily living component of ADP

By choosing a descriptor which has an allocated number of points for each of the activities, and adding up the points, you can determine whether an individual has a limited or severely limited ability to carry out mobility activities.

You should determine that an individual has:

  • limited ability to carry out mobility activities where they obtain a score of at least 8, and no more than, 11 points in relation to mobility component activities, or
    • severely limited ability to carry out mobility activities where they obtain a score of at least 12 points in relation to mobility component activities. (ADP regs, Reg  9(3))
