Definition of ‘cross-border individual’
These regulations apply where an individual
- becomes resident in Scotland,
- was resident in another part of the United Kingdom, and
- was entitled to Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or Carer’s Allowance immediately before the date of the move.

In respect of child DLA, the individual must also be under the age of 18.
