Individuals who move before 6th November 2025 but do not inform DWP or Social Security Scotland

If the client moves before the 6th November 2025 but does not notify DWP or DfC until after that date, their award will not be transferred to Social Security Scotland automatically. 

The client will instead be treated as a ‘missed case transfer’ as DWP held the incorrect address data for them. See Section 3, Paragraph 2 of this guide.
