Child Disability Payment decision making guide

Who makes decisions?

Decision makers are employed by the Scottish Government (the Scottish Ministers) to determine entitlement to Child Disability Payment (CDP) on behalf of the Scottish Ministers.

The Scottish Government has produced this decision-making guidance because they are responsible for decisions. The decision-making guidance is referred to as the guidance in this chapter. The term case manager is used in a general way to refer to anyone who works for Social Security Scotland and makes decisions affecting individuals who have applied for or are entitled CDP.
